We are getting frenzied about porn for the wrong reasons. To show you that there is nothing wrong with watching porn, I will give you ten good reasons as to why I love watching porn. I promise you that it’s not that I like, want or am obsessed with sex.
I am man, and men are visual beings
All men are visual creatures, the reason why they are attracted by the physical appearance and I am no different. I like to watch sex and see other people acting out some of my secret fantasies. Watching couples try new styles and things. Some things are attractive, and others are disgusting. I always keep away from the disgusting things in porn, or rather, the things that I find to be not my particular turn on.
As much as I am visual creature, I have learned to keep my mind clean of all the pornographic images when I am not watching. To me, porn is a chance to watch something new as much as I will not get to do some of the things I will watch. Either way, I love watching porn.
Porn is Hilarious
This may be strange to you, but porn is funny.
I am a fan of the long narrative driven vintage porn. Sometimes when watching, I focus less on the action on the screen and concentrate on what is going on in the background. I recall seeing a cat in an amateur porn, and that was hilarious. Do not get me started on the voices and sounds made by female. Often male porn stars to make silly faces. It always cracks me up, especially when they try to talk dirty and fail miserably.
At times, the acting is horrendous, and this always cracks me up.

My point is that there are funny moments in porn. For all porn stars, by saying that porn is funny, I am not trying to disrespect you and the people who work hard to make it.
What I am trying to say is that porn is hilarious because of the sex, the unexpected noises, and ridiculous funny faces. Which I understand may be something that the director wants, and not necessarily something that you have given to the film.
Ladies Dig It
There is a prevailing belief on contemporary gender roles that spreads the idea that pornography degrades women and that women should hate porn because it is sexist. There are numerous articles in all sorts of news outlets across the world.
I subscribe to a different school of thought. If you outline what women should like and what offends them in actual fact is more sexist than anything that I have seen in pornography. Talking from my experience, women like pornography material they just do not like to pay for it. Women have the same sexuality like men. I have learned that you just have to give them the chance to have and/develop an open mind, and the next thing is that you are watching together.
I get to Learn New Things
So, I like to make it clear that porn is not an instructional manual on how you should have sex.
Rather, porn appeals to fantasy and at times, it is very silly. Truth be told, there are numerous gross things about porn. Some things can never turn you on like someone spitting into a butt or muzzling on a penis and other porn tactics that cause chaos and leads feminist and anti-porn protesters to conclude that pornography is destructive to women.
As much as these things are gross and unlikeable to me as well as to some of you, does not mean that everyone hates them. Fact that some of the acts done in porn you cannot incorporate into your sex life does not mean you cannot learn a thing or two from watching porn.
I have learned many things that have improved my sex life. Some sex actions have left some women breathless. Porn has given me skills to please myself even better because I know what I can ask for in bed. Which eventually leads to a more satisfied sex life for my partner and me. I think one of the key fundamentals to take into account when ‘learning’ from porn is that porn is a performance, a constructed performance that is concerned with depicting a certain visual.
I get to explore my sexuality
Like it or not, watching pornography gives me a chance to explore my sexuality which is the only way to find what I like.
From my many years of watching porn, I have learned that it is hard to be comfortable with your own sexual fantasies and desires if you are not exposed to sexual acts out of what you have been taught to be acceptable. Porn shows you things that your sex education teacher was not confident enough to show you.
Through pornography, I have been able to explore the mechanics of sex. I have been able to relate with my sexuality. Watching porn has replaced sex education and showed me sexual things for me to explore. Porn gives me a safe spot to deduce appetites that may be uncomfortable in other places.
I would recommend porn to those individual struggling with their sexuality because it can be a way exploring their sexual horizon and reeducating their sexual desires. So, I love porn because I am able to explore the world out of what has been instilled in me as attractive.
At times porn is better than the real thing
I hope you can relate with me that having real sex can sometimes be tiresome. The old saying
“When sex is good it’s beautiful, but when it’s bad it’s still pretty good”
Sometimes is just not the truth. You have to take a shower, clean your house, take out the garbage, buy a nice outfit, take them to dinner etc.
All this effort just to get someone you’ve never met to like you, so that you can hopefully (not guaranteed) have sex with them. With porn, you can skip all these and get straight to sex. Women get turned on easily by any porn action be it guy on guy, girl on girl or even oral sex.
When watching pornography, you can be almost certain that you will have sex. If I do not have a partner, I can always masturbate which at times feels better than the real thing. Because I get my fantasies created for me because I am not always overly creative.

I have a healthy masturbation program, which has turned me to be a better partner, and a more focused sexual partner.
It is good for my mental and physical health because it is a way of ensuring that my sexual needs are being met even out of the bedroom. I am in a relationship, and when I watch porn, it is not cheating on my partner it is just a necessary part of self-love.
Majority of people in a relationship still masturbate. If you think that porn ruins the sex in your relationship, it shows that the sex before porn was not good either.
I find it healthy
Know there is a huge division between health perspectives on porn.
Some people, me included, say that watching porn is healthy and natural. It is an opportunity to learn what I like or not as well as my partner’s. I can maintain a high libido, which is something I am very proud of.
I know there are people who will tell me to watch TV or rent a movie to relieve my stress. I always zone out when watching TV. But I never zone out when watching porn whether I am masturbating or not. I treasure relaxation because it is vital for my mental and physical wellbeing and porn helps me achieve that. It allows me to be selfish to some extent.
Porn is a guilty pleasure that is brainless. It adds some entertainment to masturbation, and I do not have to worry if my ‘partner’ orgasms. Obviously, I would not want to be selfish in bed. But porn provides a free pass to continue taking without hurting my sexual reputation or, even more important, my partner’s opinion of me.
Porn decreases sex crimes
I will not talk much about sex crimes because there is nothing sexy about them. But statisticians and scientists believe that watching porn and the use of porn lessens sex crimes as it provides a harmless and safe outlet for unusual or even probably harmful sexual desires.
I mean, who am I to refute what science has concluded?
If my use of porn prevents me from becoming some deranged sex offender, so be it. I will exercise my duty for the safety of the people around me, by living out my weird fantasy using pornography. Am not about to let that wild side harm the people around me.
Safer than sex with strangers
Casual hookups are very daunting there if the fear of STDs, the awkward morning after and the hurt feeling.
I find that porn is a better alternative to all the awkwardness and fear as it provides the gratification that would otherwise come from casual sex, only without the guilt. Masturbating is very simple, just look up your fantasy and do what naturally comes. There is no anxiety related to performance, no fear of rejection and absolutely no worries about who will be calling whom the next day.

I have never had any side effects to watching pornography as it provides a means of relief that cannot be matched to any other activity. Porn has come to my aid during my many break ups when I had no love in my life. And when I have had sexual urges but lacked a partner to fulfill them.
